New Delivery Tracking!

BIG NEWS!

We've been working hard in the background to improve our delivery service. We already know we have the best drivers, so the rest of us need to keep up!

Over the last week or so (Early July 2024), we have been trailing a new order/delivery tracking service on our vehicles. 

If everything goes to plan you; when this rolls out, you should receive your tracking information as soon as your order is ready for delivery.

This will provide you with an up-to-date estimated time of arrival for your order based on the GPS location of the vehicle and potential traffic issues.

At the moment, we have set this up to give a 2 hour delivery window (as you can see from the image), but as we learn the system, we can get more and more accurate.

Most deliveries completed throughout the trial, have been delivered within a 30 minute window. So there is hope we can get this down to a reasonable time window, so you can plan the rest of your day!

We will start rolling this out over the next few weeks once we ensure accuracy can be maintained. At the moment, we have no easy way to link the tracking to orders placed over the phone, or in the timber yard. However, We will start adding the tracking to Website orders over the next few days as a trail run. If you do receive your tracking information, please provide us with feedback. This is a new system for us, and it is going to be lots of trail and error, so any feedback is very welcome!
